Waffle Weave Cushion

We are very excited to have revisited some of our past designs woven here at Solva Woollen Mill and launched this new product range. This fantastic textured material, known to some as waffle and others as honeycomb, is woven here on our wonderful old Dobcross looms using the skills passed to us from previous generations of weavers. We have chosen this warm pearl grey colour and added Welsh slate buttons to compliment the waffle design perfectly. This timeless cushion will look perfect wherever you choose to use it. A small memory of a time when weaving and mining were once both such an important part of British manufacturing. 

We have been proud supporters of the Campaign for Wool since it was launched in 2009. In 2014 we were delighted that this product was chosen to feature as part of the stunning curated collection of woollen items for interiors and lifestyle on exhibition at London's Southwark Cathedral during Wool Week (5th -12th Ocotber 2014).

All our cushions are filled with duck feather pads.

Each cushion is individually handmade so may vary slightly from the photo. Some cushions have 1 button and some have 3 buttons - it depends what we have here in stock.
