Bedspreads
Welsh Tapestry Bedspreads known as "Carthennie" in Welsh. These traditional bedcovers have been in production for over 100 years. They were at one time manufactured across Wales however today only a few woollen mills still produce these beautiful bedspreads. The cloth is double woven which means the bedspread can be used on either side. They are wonderfully warm with a luxurious quality. Traditionally these Tapestry bedspreads were given as wedding presents and today are still thought of a timeless heirlooms for future generations.
